U.S. Senator Ted Cruz Says He Bought 3 Bitcoin Miners

Republican U.S. Senator of Texas Ted Cruz has recently posted on X he bought three Bitcoin miners.  Sen. Cruz states, “I just bought 3 Bitcoin miners that started hashing today in Iraan, TX.  I’m proud to join the ranks of Texas #BITCOIN miners!”

 

 

Bitcoin miners are an expensive endeavor these days, with a decent mining rig costing several thousand dollars.  A quick search of Google shows bitcoin miners such as Antminer S21 with 200 TH/s, operating at 3675 W, selling for a price of $6,150.
